The Italtel IMS Solution provides Fixed and Mobile operators a layered future-proof architecture that speeds up Service Execution & Creation maintaining interworking with legacy systems. The Italtel modular approach provides 'one' Convergent Fixed-Mobile IMS Solution – Baseline is 3GPP R6/R7 complemented with ETSI TISPAN R1 functionalities covering aspects related to fixed broadband access - to offer Telephony and Multimedia services simultaneously to SIP subscribers.
The Italtel approach allows either a smooth migration of existing infrastructures to a complete IMS framework enabling the development of new Services and Network Enablers (Presence, Messaging, Group Management etc.) from the beginning or developing the transport IP network from scratch to add on top all the IMS available components.
