MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTS & SOLUTIONS

The “Multimedia Products & Solutions” offer line is mainly aimed at Service Providers and includes the following solutions areas:

  • NGN Solutions (Next Generation Networks): realization, deployment and implementation of new networks and/or upgrading of existing networks (IP-based & TDM-based);
  • NGS Solutions (Next Generation Services): realization, deployment and implementation of the main advanced services associated with NGN networks (Multimedia Communication, Multimedia IP Centrex, Centralized directory, Instant Messaging,…)
  • IMS Solutions: fixed and mobile operators’ networks evolution according to the IP Multimedia SubSystem (IMS) standard, through a “step-by-step” approach.

For all solutions areas, Italtel is able to assure the following activities:

  • Network infrastructure design: design and planning of the operator’s network requirements (taking into account installed base, current and expected traffic volumes, interconnections with external networks, and traffic migration process from the existing network);
  • VoIP component engineering: engineering and customizing the call management capacity of the VoIP network component (mainly Softswitch and Media Gateway);
  • Products supply: sales, network installation, testing and deployment of hardware and software, both of Italtel and of third-parties, included in the solutions;
  • Solution deployment: installation and testing of designed solution, in order to verify the new solution in the operator’s overall environment and the solution compliance to the design requirements.
